TITLE: Human Resources Recruiter

Location: 3025 W. May St., Wichita, KS

Travel Required: None

Reports to: Human Resources Director

 

Job Description: The Human Resources Recruiter administers assigned recruitment efforts.

 

Summary of Duties:

 Reviews applications and resumes, evaluates applicants’ skills, preliminary screening and interviewing, makes recommendations regarding applicants’ qualifications.

 Manages applicant tracking and key metrics regarding staffing.

 Coordinates temporary employees between open requisitions and staffing agencies.

 Schedules and conducts required HR provided safety training.

 Schedules and conducts new employee orientation.

 Acts as a liaison to new temporary and direct hired employees as they adjust to their assignment.

 Provide backup support to the HR Generalist for attendance and timekeeping.

 Support the HR Director, HR Manager and HR Generalist on assigned projects.  

 

Required Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related area

One or more years of experience in a related area

Understanding of state and federal employment laws

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Work with minimal supervision

Maintains confidential HR and payroll information

Must be dependable


SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 2ND SHIFT

  

Duties Include:

  •  Routine and extensive preventative maintenance on fabrication and shop equipment
  • Detect equipment malfunction and make needed repairs
  • Performs electrical installation and repair work
  • Performs PLC programming
  • Rough carpentry work
  • Repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks, clogged lines and drains
  • Grounds maintenance and grounds equipment repairs
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment

 

Job Location:

This position is based in Wichita, Kansas

Schedule – Monday – Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (midnight)

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree
  • Technically competent, with at least five to ten years of responsible experience with basic mechanical, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical and hydraulic systems or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
  • Ability to use hand tools,  power tools, and electrical test equipment
  • Willing to help with other maintenance tasks as needed
  • Ability to mentor maintenance staff
  • Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, repair manuals, parts catalogs, work orders
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and following safety practices and regulations
  • Must be dependable
  • Flexibility to work overtime on short notice
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to drive and maintain valid driver’s license

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

 

Job Description:          The Human Resources Manager position is a fulltime, onsite position that is part of a four person HR team supporting the day-to-day and strategic mission of a privately held Wichita based manufacturing company with over 300 employees.

 

Duties:

 

  • Maintains the Ceridian Day Force human resources information system and records.
  • Manages the various employee benefits, including renewal, open enrollment, claims processing and employee questions.
  • Manages the FMLA and ADA process.
  • Assists supervisors with employee relations issues in a non-union environment.
  • Participates in employee relation issues such as employee complaints, including providing potential solutions.
  • Coordinates safety and workers compensation programs, maintains records, reports, and logs.
  • Prepares and maintains the company handbook on policies and procedures, and makes recommendations for improvements and changes.
  • Writes and updates job descriptions as necessary.
  • Participates in recruitment efforts and coordinating hiring activities.
  • Acts as backup support to the Human Resources Generalist in preparing bi-weekly payroll.
  • Assists in organizational training and development efforts, including program creation, sourcing and delivery.
  • Supports the HR Director, HR Generalist and HR Recruiter on assigned projects.

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR - 2ND SHIFT

 

Duties Include:

 

  • Audits manufacturing processes to verify compliance with manufacturing procedures, policies and specifications
  • Lead, train and motivate operators in the line inspection procedures
  • Verify engineering change orders as to accuracy
  • Receiving inspection of material and parts
  • Verification of first run parts
  • Maintenance of files for listing agencies

TITLE: Information Technology Network & Computer Systems Analyst

 

Summary: This onsite position is responsible for technical support for the user community. Troubleshoots, maintains and modifies computer and network systems.  

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (in computer science or other technical field of study) or successful completion of a two year vocational school Systems Administration program or a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.

 

Job Duties:

  • Handle technical calls from users.
  • Routinely and constantly maintain and patch systems.
  • Maintain a highly effective security posture to minimize risk of Cyber-attacks.
  • Maintain and configure network firewall, switch, controller, access point, virtualization, database and server systems.
  • Provide technical support for common applications and operating systems, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office and Outlook, LibreOffice, Thunderbird, Internet Browsers, Windows and Linux.
  • Configure systems and assist users with laser printers, bar code printers and print servers.
  • Develop expertise in internal applications in order to provide support for Filebound, Progress RDBMS, Bar Code printing systems, various manufacturing software systems used in conjunction with manufacturing machinery, processes and bar code readers.
  • Develop skills with OES Netware, Zenworks, Linux, Windows Server, VMWare, SAN hardware and networking equipment to provide support.
  • Respond to off-hours emergencies and urgent critical situations.
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate ideas and information written or verbally to peers, customers and leadership in a professional, tactful and timely
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful, but not required.

SHIPPING/RECEIVING 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT

DUTIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Operate a forklift
  • Change forklift propane tanks
  • Perform basic forklift preventative maintenance
  • Accurately place and retrieve inventory goods
  • Order pulling/picking
  • Load and unload material and product
  • Operate scanning equipment
  • Perform inventory stock counts

 

Job Location and Hours:
1st shift position hours 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
2nd shift position hours 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

This position is located in southwest Wichita

 

Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma/GED or warehouse experience
  • Work overtime
  • Speak, read and write in English
  • Accurately perform basic math
  • Operate scanning equipment
