SALES APPLICATION ENGINEERING ASSOCIATE

 

Duties Include:

 

  • Providing technical assistance for the sale of the organizations’ products
  • Designing chimney systems and special components
  • Preparing drawings using computer software including Revit and CAD
  • Troubleshooting problems, answering questions, and handling customer complaints
  • Assuring the integrity of incoming and outgoing information relative to quotations, drawings, sizing, installations, orders, etc.

 

Job Location/Schedule:

This position is based on-site in Wichita, Kansas

Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate or technical degree, or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design programs including Revit and AutoCAD
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
  • Aptitude for interpreting and discussing technical documents
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards

 


MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR - 1ST SHIFT

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the direct activities of production personnel ensuring an efficient, consistent manufacture and assembly of manufactured goods as needed to satisfy internal and external customers.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Leadership
    • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production
  • Production and Processing
    • Establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences
    • Read and analyze charts, work orders, and production schedules to determine production requirements
    • Ensure product is produced to Metal-Fab’s internal standards
    • Maintain both internal and external quality standards
  •  Mechanical
    • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair and maintenance
  • Personnel
    • Hires, fires and/or changes the employment status of employees
    • Communicates policies to staff, assures policies are understood and followed
    • Confers with management and/or subordinates to resolve employee issues, complaints or grievances
    • Maintain constructive working relationships with employees, peers, managers and customers
  • Training and Development
    • Demonstrates equipment operations, tasks, and safety procedures to new employees
    • Perform cross-training, on-the job training and follow up to ensure training is completed successfully by employees

JOB LOCATION AND HOURS:

The position is located at 3025 W. May St., Wichita, Kansas 67213

This is an exempt position; normal schedule is Monday – Friday 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; must be able to work outside of the schedule to meet business demands.

TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

SUMMARY:
The Sales Territory Manager is responsible for sales in a defined region of the United States. 

 

Duties:

  • The position assists field reps in account strategy
  • Achieve sales quotas

  • Maximizes the business potential in the territory
  • Achieves ultimate customer satisfaction

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NETWORK COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST


Summary:
This onsite position is responsible for technical support for the user community. Troubleshoots, maintains and modifies computer and network systems.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (in computer science or other technical field of study) or successful completion of a two year vocational school Systems Administration program or a minimum of 4 years relevant experience


Job Duties:

  • Handle technical calls from users.
  • Routinely and constantly maintain and patch systems.
  • Maintain a highly effective security posture to minimize risk of Cyber-attacks.
  • Maintain and configure network firewall, switch, controller, access point, virtualization, database and server systems.
  • Provide technical support for common applications and operating systems, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office and Outlook, LibreOffice, Thunderbird, Internet Browsers, Windows and Linux.
  • Configure systems and assist users with laser printers, bar code printers and print servers.
  • Develop expertise in internal applications in order to provide support for Filebound, Progress RDBMS, Bar Code printing systems, various manufacturing software systems used in conjunction with manufacturing machinery, processes and bar code readers.
  • Develop skills with OES Netware, Zenworks, Linux, Windows Server, VMWare, SAN hardware and networking equipment to provide support.
  • Respond to off-hours emergencies and urgent critical situations.
  • Excellent problem solving Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate ideas and information written or verbally to peers, customers and leadership in a professional, tactful and timely Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful, but not required.

SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 2ND SHIFT

  

Duties Include:

  •  Routine and extensive preventative maintenance on fabrication and shop equipment
  • Detect equipment malfunction and make needed repairs
  • Performs electrical installation and repair work
  • Performs PLC programming
  • Rough carpentry work
  • Repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks, clogged lines and drains
  • Grounds maintenance and grounds equipment repairs
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment

 

Job Location:

This position is based in Wichita, Kansas

Schedule – Monday – Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (midnight)

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree
  • Technically competent, with at least five to ten years of responsible experience with basic mechanical, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical and hydraulic systems or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
  • Ability to use hand tools,  power tools, and electrical test equipment
  • Willing to help with other maintenance tasks as needed
  • Ability to mentor maintenance staff
  • Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, repair manuals, parts catalogs, work orders
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and following safety practices and regulations
  • Must be dependable
  • Flexibility to work overtime on short notice
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to drive and maintain valid driver’s license

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR - 2ND SHIFT

 

Duties Include:

 

  • Audits manufacturing processes to verify compliance with manufacturing procedures, policies and specifications
  • Lead, train and motivate operators in the line inspection procedures
  • Verify engineering change orders as to accuracy
  • Receiving inspection of material and parts
  • Verification of first run parts
  • Maintenance of files for listing agencies
