Metal-Fab is seeking warehouse shipping associates for 1st shift
Duties Include:
- Operate a forklift
- Change forklift propane tanks
- Perform basic forklift preventative maintenance
- Accurately place and retrieve inventory goods
- Order pulling/picking
- Load and unload material and product
- Operate scanning equipment
- Perform inventory stock counts
Job Location:
- This position is located in southwest Wichita.
- 1st shift hours 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or warehouse experience
- Available to work daily and/or weekend overtime
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to accurately perform basic math
- Ability to operate scanning equipment and use measuring devices
- Ability to work with and get along with other employees

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NETWORK COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST.
This onsite position is responsible for technical support for the user community. Troubleshoots, maintains and modifies computer and network systems.
Duties Include:
- Handle technical support calls from users.
- Assist to maintain and patch systems.
- Assist to maintain a highly effective security posture to minimize risk of Cyber-attacks.
- Assist to maintain and configure network firewalls, switches, controllers, access points, virtualization, database and server systems.
- Assist to design and install network cabling throughout office and manufacturing areas.
- Provide technical support for common applications and operating systems Windows and Linux.
- Configure systems and assist users with laser printers, bar code printers and print servers.
- Develop expertise in internal applications in order to provide support for them.
- Respond to off-hours emergencies and urgent critical situations.

This is an exempt position, normal schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; must be able to work outside of the schedule due to business demands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred (in computer science or other technical field of study) or successful completion of a two year vocational school Systems Administration program or a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information written or verbally to peers, customers and leadership in a professional, tactful and timely manner.
- Customer focused and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse work environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful, but not required.

SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENTAL (SH&E) MANAGER
Metal-Fab, Inc. is seeking a candidate for a 1st Shift Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) Manager. This position is responsible for assisting in the oversight of SH&E programs within the division. The SH&E Manager will work closely with the Leadership Team at the division to drive successful implementation of the companies SH&E goals/objectives, programs and policies. The role requires the SH&E Manager to develop and/or review SH&E policy, procedure & training content. The SH&E Manager ensures that their division maintains compliance with current regulations by working with the President to implement timely solutions to identified issues. The SH&E Manager collaborates with leaders at other divisions, as appropriate, to drive improvements in safety performance and culture.
Duties:
- Primary point of contact for all SH&E activities within the division.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable Local, State & Federal SH&E regulations.
- Provides coaching and support to all Frontline Leaders and Division Leadership Team to effectively mitigate SH&E risks.
- Handles employee SH&E concerns as they arise, responding promptly and providing support to correct safety violations.
- Leads safety-related investigations ensuring reporting of incidents/near miss occurrences, determination of root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions in a timely manner and according to procedure.
- Develops, maintains and implements safety and healthy compliance training and records per all applicable Local, State & Federal SH&E regulations.
- Ensures safety trainings/meetings are being conducted in the division.
- Maintains site-specific safety programs and policies.
- Oversees safety committees, safety audits and related activities.
- Conducts safety orientation and safety training with employees as required by specific job duties.
- Perform duties associated with Workers’ Compensation related activities, including interacting with employees, local medical providers, the W/C insurance carrier, and other stake holders as necessary.
- Performs or coordinates all industrial hygiene (IH) activities.
- Coordinates all required employee medical surveillance and administration of safety programs.
- Maintains SDS documentation and company safety reference library.
- Maintains compliance with OSHA record keeping requirements.

- OSHA 30 Hour Certification.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in collecting and analyzing data; preparing reports; and training employees.
- Skilled at training on various topics including forklift safety, crane safety, general standards, etc.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Must be able to flex hours to temporarily work any shift.
- Customer focused and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse work environment.
- Up to 10 percent travel.
- The successful candidate must reside or be able to relocate to the Wichita area.
- Ability to drive and maintain valid driver’s license.

Metal-Fab, Inc. is seeking an assembler position for 1st Shift running a CNC Press Brake Machine. This is a great opportunity for someone working on a technical degree with an emphasis in quality, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
Duties Include:
- Verification of first run parts
- Operate CNC brake press machine to produce approved products on schedule according to quality standards.
- Confirms work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation with tape measure and other measurement tools.
